EN-DIANA ERISHKAGIL LE FAY
I am a coffee drinking, bleeding-heart-liberal-thinking,artist, Faerie Hippie from New York City and Homestead/Fort Lauderdale Area .
I have been a practicing witch and pagan for 12 years. I was introduced to the Craft by the Lady Demeter and the Lord Angus of Under the Stars Metaphysical Store in June 1994 and so began my unoffical training - for Demeter knew before I did that I am a witch.
At a sunrise Summer Solstice ritual in 2002 with another of Lady Demeter's Daughters-in-the-Goddess, I committed myself to service the Goddess officially, in an unoffical moment at sunrise on the beach. And so I follow the Path of the Goddess and the Third Road Faerie tradition with my Sisters.
I am the current Vice President and a founding member of the Sisterhood. I am also the Seneschal for Moonpath Circle, Inc., a group that provides pagan services, rituals and study meetings to the community; and, recognizes pagan clergy through ordination and through work with the group Muunpath Chapter of Covenant of UU Pagans.
Finally, I am an active member of the Unitarian Universalist (UU) Church of Fort Lauderdale. I also have a number of magical names: my temple name is En-Diana Erishkagil Le Fay (or d'Elf), and my CUUPS name is dragnfli DECORIUS ilfngard, little d, or just plain dragnfli - depending upon my job.
I am drawn to and honor a number of Goddesses including Yemaya, Persephone, Tara, Oya, Ochun, Diana/Artemis, Athena, Kali, and Morgan Le Fay (of course!).
I cannot forget the Gods - Apollo, Neptune, Obatala, Ellegua, Ogun, Chango, Hades/Vulcan, Shiva, Buddha, and Jesus. And I work with Universal and Celtic Faerie energies.
I am committed to serving and educating women and young people especially but also the community as a whole, both muggle and magical. I have BA & MA degrees in Sociology with certificates in Women's Studies from Florida Atlantic University and I am currently learning Reiki and have acheived my first level of competancy.
One of the most important gifts I work with is Plant Spirit medicine, and I am able to bring my calling into my mundane life through my commitment to environmental action and education by coordinating Earth Day! and other nature clean-up events each year, through my nature photography and other artworks, as a Broward County Master Gardener, in my home butterfly and herb gardens, and through my UUCFL church grounds work - and to top it all off I own a gardening businiess as well.
