The Sisterhood has two acting Founders/High Priestesses...
Reverend Shelly K. Smith and Reverend Janine Griffiths

and three High Priestesses...Reverend Valan Evers, Reverend Deborah Forrester, and Reverend Melissa Rowel, who have been formally Initiated into the Temple.  These five women comprise the Dark Moon Council, which is the Temple's governing body. Each member of the Dark Moon Council is a legally ordained minister through the Universal Life Church.  In January of 2005, we were incorporated in the State of Florida as a not-for-profit spiritual organization.  We are diligently working on our Federal 501c3 status.  Once filed, we hope to be acknowledged by the federal government as a legally established "church"/religious organization with the same rights, privileges, and authority as any other mainstream ordained clergypersons."
